in glowing light

fantasies obscure screens

as seasons continue to turn.

Blue-veined beings

hide behind devices.

Abruptly, warm bodies

collide in public spaces,

illusions shattered

by moving parts.

A live audience

and eye contact

meeting face-to-face

truth steals the show.
